Exemptions are given for courses already passed as per University norms.
Lateral Entry: P.G. Diploma holders in IT/Software Engineering / Computer Engineering join II Year.
M.Sc (I.T.), MBA (Systems/Software Enterprises Management/IT Management/E-Business/ E-Commerce/ Software Quality Assurance can join III year MCA as per University norms.
Demand Draft Drawn form any Bank or remittance through chilling at Karur Vysya Bank Branches should be in favour of the Director, Directorate of online and Distance Education, Anna University, Coimbatore, payable at coimbatore. If there is no branch for that Bank at Coimbatore, add bank charges.
No charges will be levied by Karur Vysya Bank for Demand Draft/ Challan
How to Apply?
* Application can be obtained in person at the office of the directorate of Online and Distance Education, Anna University, Coimbatore, GCT Campus, Coimbatore – 641013 by submitting a demand draft for Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) for P.G. Programme/ Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) for P.G. Diploma Programme.
* Application can be obtained by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) for P.G. Programme/Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) for P.G. Diploma Programme to the office of the Directorate of online and Distance Education, Anna University, Coimbatore, GCT Campus, Coimbatore – 641013 with a request letter for the application (OR)
* Application downloaded from the University website can be sent along with DD as mentioned above.

I would prefer ICFAI or IMT distance learning programs instead. The ANNA university is not that recognised for Distance education.
